James River Cellars Winery is happy to accommodate private parties, weddings, fundraising events and business meeting of any size.

Facility rental fee:

$10.00/person at a minimum of $250.00

• Includes:
  - indoor (tables and chairs included), and/or outdoor (patio with tables and chairs, lawn) usage
  - wine tasting upon request (souvenir glass can be included for $2/glass)
  - 20% discount on all wines used for the event
• Minimum rental fees:
  - Fridays: $350.00
  - Saturdays: $500.00
• Wedding Ceremonies are an additional $200.00

Staffing fee:

$25.00/staff member/hour
- at least 2 staff members needed
- additional staff members dependent on the size of the group

Tent rental fees:

20 x 20 tent                      $150.00 (one available)
20 x 30 tent                      $250.00 (two available)
30 x 40 tent                      $400.00 (one available)
- personal or other rented tents are permitted
- sides are available upon request
- if renting all the tents, the 20x20 tent is free

Facilities:

Banquet room:
Is a private room overlooking the lawn and vineyard. It is ideal for business meetings, birthday parties, anniversaries, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and intimate wedding receptions. In the banquet room we can accomodate up to 56 people seated with round tables, or 70 people seated in a conference format for business meetings. The room can accommodate 80 people for buffet style events.

The lawn:
Is a beautifully landscaped area that is able to accommodate up to 500 people. The lawn is perfect for larger wedding receptions, fundraising events, reunions, etc.

Equipment:

Tents and tables:
James River Cellars Winery has 4 tents in 3 different sizes and 24 picnic tables available for rent. Sides for the tents are available upon request.

Gazebo:
For wedding ceremonies James River Cellars Winery has a metal gazebo. It is available at no additional charge. The gazebo can be set-up in various locations.

Additional information:

Rental equipment:
If additional or alternative equipment is required, a list of rental companies can be provided. Outside equipment set-up can be done during business hours, removal should be scheduled on the day following the event. 

Privacy:
The winery is open seven days a week. Private parties are allowed any time during normal business hours, but please note, that we can not close the main entrance of the winery to the public. After 6 p.m. the winery can be reserved exclusively for an event.

Catering:

We do not have catering on site; you are welcome to bring in any caterer of your choice. You or your caterer are allowed to bring in beer (with ABC license), however liquor and outside wine are not permitted.

Requirements:

To book the event we require a 30% non-refundable deposit of the total estimated cost. The remainder of the facility rental fee and the cost of the wine are due at the conclusion of the event. You will be responsible for clean-up, otherwise you will be charged a clean-up/damage fee. (A $200.00 refundable security deposit in the form of a check is required in case of damages or cleaning fees incurred.)
